Does changing the pitch of a sample take away the copyright?

Okay well, I produce my own songs and beats, and recently ive started sampling songs, i know if i want to use a beat I made commercially that was sampled I gotta clear it first but does changing the pitch of the song take away the copyright? Please let me know guys! Thanks a bunch!
