Why can't i play Star Wars Jedi Knight Academy multiplayer?

only logical reasons that the option is either not there or not working are that your download didnt download properly or you downloaded a corrupt version, only other option i see is steam dont have any servers for the multiplayer or the servers were shut down therefore they removed the function.
