What happened in star wars after episode six?

I know this might seem a little weird to people coming from a girl, but thanks to my dad I was introduced to star wars six or seven years ago when I was five or six, and watched episode IV. Obviously I didn't really get it until about the age of eight/nine but recently I watched them all again and after episode six - return of the jedi I've been wondering what happened to them all?! Did they stay on Endor? Did Luke train more Jedi? stuff like that... THANKS xxx :P (If theres a back story send me a link if pos`)
