If you could rank the Star Wars episodes from lightest to darkest, what would they be?

I would agree with your selection, except for your choices for three and four, though they are in good spots. I would have flipped them because of the fact that Luke was facing his first experience of the Dark Side of the Force by meeting the Emperor in "Return of the Jedi," and basically it was winner takes all between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire at the Death Star. On the other hand, I understand why you rank "Attack of the Clones" as darker because Anakin killed an entire band of Sand People in anger over the death of his mother. Makes perfect sense either way.
