Blank screen on Jedi knight: jedi academy?

hey, ive had this game star wars: jedi knight, jedi academy for a few years, it used to work on my old mac laptop (powerbook G4) and it still works on my mom's macbook (not macbook pro), but i now have a macbook air and it's now downloaded on here and when i boot up the game, i can hear the sounds of the game, menu, company logo's at the beginning of the game but the screen is sort of dark blue, and doesnt change at all until i quit (cmd Q) (i tried reinstalling 3 times)
