Quick! What kind of purse to wear to a house party?!?

My friend just moved and shes having a house party and I have no idea if i should wear a big purse with a long strap, or a small purse with a long strap (long strap meaning i can wear it over the shoulder) or i should wear a big purse with a little strap, or just kind of a clutch! heelppp please! i need answers asap the party starts at 10:30 lol!!
